Shake Yo Groove Thang...Yeah, Yeah!

Remember this fella from a month or so ago? For those that don't, he sits outside of the coffee house, Fix, near the end of Wade Hampton Blvd., and Stone Avenue. My guess is that he plans on shaking his groove thang at a Halloween party tonight. I really dig his wig! He's really going to get the chicks wearing that coat too! I bet he drives the Mystery Machine from yesterday! ;)

Zoinks!!

Maybe you have to be a child of the 70's to fully appreciate this. When I first saw this van, I immediately thought of The Mystery Machine. What do you think?

Ice, Ice, Baby...

I had to scrape ice yesterday morning. It wasn't much to amount to anything, but it slowed me down nonetheless. I'm pretty sure I'll be scraping ice again this morning too. Guess it's time to clean out the garage!

Sunrift Adventures

Sunrift Adventures has been in Travelers Rest for almost 30 years. Originally on Hawkins Road (near George Coleman Ford), their current location is the former Brown's Feed and Seed building. I'm not sure what year Brown's Feed and Seed was built at this location, but I believe it was in the early '60's.

My fondest memories of this building, were the many trips inside as a child, buying plants, seeds and garden supplies with my mom and grandma.
