I was quite surprised to see this fella at Brookgreen Gardens. I was even more surprised to find that he wasn't contained in any way. He was just hanging out at the edge of this pond. I don't know about you, but any alligator that isn't confined to a cage is an alligator that is too close to me! I took this photo and high-tailed it the other way!

Later, Gator!
I was quite surprised to see this fella at Brookgreen Gardens. I was even more surprised to find that he wasn't contained in any way. He was just hanging out at the edge of this pond. I agree with you in regards to gators. They should be behind something and not able to get to me or mine! You have taken some VERY beautiful shots at the gardens! Thanks for sharing them with us all.
