I remember talking to a Southern-Challenged friend of mine not long ago and she told me that the first time she saw kudzu, she thought it was such a pretty vine!
If you've lived around here for any length of time, you know that kudzu is anything but pretty!
It covers approximately 7 million acres in the South! Used in the 30's for erosion control, the USDA declared it a weed in 1972.
This "beautiful" kudzu is located at the end of Wade Hampton Boulevard and Church Street.
