The Kilgore-Lewis House

The Kilgore-Lewis House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1938, it was moved to it's present location on North Academy Street in 1974.

Josiah Kilgore built the house for his daughter, Mary Keziah, as a wedding gift.

Since 1974, the Kilgore-Lewis House has served as the headquarters for the Greenville Council of Garden Clubs.

I wish someone would have built me a house as a wedding present. ;)

It's cute! I love older houses.
